The Agate Windchime Large Green is a large windchime made from agate imported from Brazil. The agate used in the windchime is sliced with diamond saws and then ground to remove imperfections left behind, and polishing and dyeing are done to enhance the beauty within.
Agate is a very fine-grained form of quartz that grows within volcanic lava bubbles known as geodes. This windchime uses green agate, so the colour is green throughout. When hung where air moves, the agate pieces knock together and make a gentle sound.
